For the zany and dreadful Lovecraft zine. Not being a terrible connoisseur of the writer himself, I found myself more caught up by his poetry than prose. Such visuals uninhibited! Such melancholy and haunting worlds! Here is a scene from “The Cats”
….Poisonous fungi in brick and stone flow’ring,
Lanterns that shudder and death-lights that glow…..…..And living to answer the wind and the water,
Only the lean cats that howl in the waste!
